Vamp up your dinners, receptions, parties, premiers and trade shows.

Whatever your event, Laura’s sleight of hand skills and charming personality will keep your guests entertained in a walk-about environment, around your tables or at your trade stand.

Laura offers a bespoke 15 minute stage cabaret show that includes magic, mind reading and audience participation. This can also include pre rehearsed illusions with the company boss for a product launch.

Laura writes and presents talks and lectures all fully backed by AV both for the magic industry and for business.  She has delivered her talks and lectures in the UK, Europe and the US.

Her motivational talks use magic to engage with the audience with the particular intention of developing an understanding of how to be more approachable and likeable within a professional setting.

Laura London is one of the world’s best female sleight of hand artists. She is also a highly skilled close-up magician, a cabaret performer, a motivational speaker and an acclaimed lecturer on various aspects of the history of magic.  She has developed virtual performances which have come into their own during ‘lockdown’.

Born and in London, Laura’s interest in magic began at the age of 10 when she was given her first magic trick by a family friend. Just one week after her 18th birthday, she became the youngest ever female member of The Magic Circle and is now a member of the exclusive Inner Magic Circle, a position that is reserved for the very best and achieved only by election by her peers.

Sleight of hand is Laura’s first love. Her card skills are exceptional and were showcased in ‘Laura London: CHEAT’ a show Laura wrote and devised which premiered at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe. It tells the story of a female cardsharp in the 1920s.   She has since performed this show to standing ovations in at the world famous ‘Magic Castle’ in Los Angeles both to the general public and at international magic conventions.

Within 6 months of becoming professional, Laura landed her first TV show called Playing Tricks, a ten-part street magic series. Laura was the only female among the six featured magicians. Her other TV credits include ITV1’s ‘The Next Great Magician’, ‘Penn and Teller’s ‘Fool Us’, ‘The Magic Party’ and ‘Children In Need’.

Laura is currently the ‘magician of choice’ at many fashionable London venues and events. Her residencies include the Café de Paris, the Hippodrome, Scarfe’s Bar and the Savoy.  One of her biggest honours was performing for Her Majesty the Queen at Buckingham Palace and also on several occasions for the His Highness the Prince of Wales.

A big favourite at parties and events, Laura can find herself entertaining guests at a private dinner for 6, table hopping at a dinner for 200 or fooling the boss during her stand-up cabaret. More intriguingly Laura was well prepared when asked by a major drinks producer to perform virtual magic at virtual lockdown parties. Her magical talents have been seen at events in Paris, Lisbon, Miami, New York, LA, Sydney, Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Mumbai, Johannesburg, Dubai and The Maldives. Festival appearances include Download, Glastonbury, Sonisphere, Love Box and SFX.

A unique experience, Laura will join you and your guests around the dinner table and share the story of Geraldine Hartmann, A Cardsharp from the 1920’s. She also performed card-cheating demonstrations that were described in Geraldine’s personal journal. This is an adapted version of Laura London: CHEAT, her 4 star reviewed one-woman show as seen at the Edinburgh Fringe 2016 and the Wellcome Collection.

With the world going through changes, Laura has adapted her act so she can bring her magic to your online event, whether it be a birthday or a corporate conference, she can bring a bit of entertainment to you.

The platforms she works on are Zoom, Skype and Microsoft Teams

Laura invites your guests to gather round her table at receptions or after dinner, as she performs magic and card cheating demonstrations.

Each performance lasts 15 minutes and can accommodate up to 20 people around the table at any one time and it can be performed up to 3 times per hour.
